Ombre/Shadow Brows

2.5 HRS | $495
A 2-session treatment process (4-6 weeks in between treatments).
More sessions may be required to achieve the desired results.

Semi-permanent shadow brows – a technique that falls into the category of machine brows. This treatment is done by implementing the pigments into the top layer of the skin with a tattoo machine using a dotting technique.

The shadow brows technique is great for achieving fullness and a well-defined arch. This technique can also be done in an ombre style if you wish to get more natural-looking results.

What makes the ombre brows different from regular powder brows is the shading placement.

Unlike powder brows which have the same amount of pigment placed throughout the brow, the ombre style is achieved with colour gradation. The beginning of the brow has the least amount of pigment applied and as we are nearing the tail the colour intensifies. This makes the arch well-defined.

An aftercare kit will be provided for you to take home. At the end of your session, you will achieve approximately 30% of the result. The remainder is achieved with aftercare and how well you look after your new brows.

Combination Brows

2.5 - 3 HRS | $525
Permanent make-up brow tattoo, done with pigments. A combination of two techniques – hair strokes and shading.

Combination brows are combined of two techniques – hair strokes and shading. Hair strokes are usually created with microblading, i.e., a manual tool, but they can also be made with machine strokes or nano brows. Shading is then added to fill in the space between the hair strokes.

Combo brows are not only for people who want a combination of hair strokes and a powdery look. They are great for people with oily skin who like microblading. The hair strokes tend to become blurry on oily skin, so adding some shading will make them look better. Also, they will last longer with some shading.

The main difference is in the technique, but there are also some differences in longevity and cost. As described above – microblading is hair strokes only, and combo brows are microblading and shading, or nano brows plus shading.

The healing process and aftercare are similar for both treatments.

Day 1 – Your eyebrows are a fresh wound, they may look swollen, and you will notice the lymph coming out. Blot the lymph several times mainly during the first two hours once your treatment is completed, you can still carry on blotting throughout the day to avoid lymph build-up.

Day 2 – Your eyebrows may look too dark. Don’t worry, the colour will fade once the brows are healed. You can start washing your eyebrows now. Avoid getting them soaking wet – use a little bit of water and antibacterial soap on a cotton pad. Make sure your brows are dry afterward.

Days 3-10 – Your eyebrows will start scabbing, then peeling. Don’t pick on the scabs, let them fall off on their own, to avoid the risk of scarring and ruining the whole process. Keep washing your eyebrows regularly, twice a day. Use a moisturising ointment if your artists prescribe it.

Days 10 onwards – You can wash your face and brows as usual. Your brows may seem too light after the scabbing stage, but it is normal – the pigment will reappear. Two weeks after the treatment you can wear makeup and go back to your usual routine.

6-8 weeks after – Your eyebrows are completely healed, and you can have a touch-up. The artist would make all the necessary corrections if the eyebrows healed too patchy.

Additional session (touch-up) for combination brows after 6 weeks – Cost : $250

Lip Blush

3 - 3.5 HRS | $495
A semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo to enhance the appearance of the lips.

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the colour and shape of your lips and give the impression of fullness and the illusion of bigger lips without adding volume. This is done by depositing colour ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The colour is subtle to give natural looking results.

Lip blushing is becoming a popular treatment for those who want the illusion of fuller lips. While cosmetic products can plump lips temporarily and lip fillers can add volume, a lip blush tattoo can enhance your natural lip colour and shape.

Some estimates say lip blushing can last about two years, but results can vary from person to person. Sun exposure and smoking can speed up how quickly your colour fades.

Lip blushing is something that would need to be repeated at certain intervals to maintain the results.

Unlike a regular tattoo that uses a needle to deposit ink, lip blushing uses a tiny blade to make cuts into your skin. Ink is deposited into each cut. You can add a layer of colour at a time until you reach your desired results, typically done in numerous sessions until you get the results you want.

The pain level has been described as minimal. A topical anesthetic is typically applied for about 20 minutes to numb your lips. Then, the technician draws the shape of what you want your lips to look like.

You can enhance your cupid’s bow or make your lips look more symmetrical. A lot of times, the ink will be deposited into the sides of lips, as those areas tend to lose their natural colour as you age. Your technician will explain the whole process, and you can make any changes or adjustments prior to starting the treatment.

After the procedure, you may experience swelling, redness, and potential bruising.

You can use ice or a cold compress to help reduce swelling. Avoid smoking, and if you have a history of cold sores, please inform your technician beforehand as you may need to take anti-viral medication/ointment prior to lip tattooing to prevent cold sore breakout.

There is a small chance of an infection. Keep your lips clean and don’t pick at any scabs. Make sure you follow whatever aftercare instructions you receive. It may take up to 8-12 weeks to see the results.

Additional session (touch-up) for lip blushing after 8 weeks. $250
